Jason Anderson

Jason Anderson is an executive operations leader, nonprofit founder, and educator whose work focuses on strengthening organizations by developing people, improving systems, and translating operational discipline into durable economic outcomes. He brings more than 13 years of experience driving performance improvement across corporate and civic environments, with a consistent emphasis on workforce capability and execution.

Jason currently serves as an Operational Excellence Leader at The Hershey Company, and has held senior leadership roles at Modine Manufacturing and Lennox International. Across these organizations, he led multi–business-unit quality and operations teams, delivered six- and seven-figure cost savings, and executed enterprise-wide Lean and Six Sigma initiatives. As a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Jason is known for working directly with frontline teams to build internal problem-solving and process-improvement capability—ensuring operational gains are driven by people who understand and own the work.

In parallel, Jason is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Dream Commission, an award-winning nonprofit advancing financial literacy, education, and economic access. Under his leadership, the organization has designed and delivered community-based programs that translate complex financial concepts into practical, actionable skills for individuals and families. Jason views AI literacy and applied technology skills as an emerging extension of financial literacy, particularly as data, automation, and decision-support tools increasingly shape household economics, employment, and small business viability. Through The Dream Commission’s work, he emphasizes helping participants understand how modern tools influence income stability, cost management, and long-term financial decision-making.

Jason also serves as an adjunct business professor at LeMoyne-Owen College, where he mentors first-generation and nontraditional students, emphasizing practical business skills, operational thinking, and career readiness.

Born and raised in Grenada Mississippi, Jason brings a personal understanding of the challenges and potential of rural communities—perspective that continues to shape his commitment to people-centered workforce development and community-based economic empowerment. His leadership has been recognized through honors including the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and Memphis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40.
