Keith Wilson is the founder of FutureSouth Foundation and a technology and operations leader whose work centers on helping workers and employers adapt to emerging technologies through practical, workforce-first implementation. His career spans global automotive corporate leadership and entrepreneurship, with a consistent focus on building systems that improve performance by equipping people—not replacing them.
Keith brings experience from senior executive roles within large, complex organizations, where he led data-driven product strategy, monetization initiatives, and cross-functional teams operating at national and global scale. His corporate career included living and working across the United States, Asia, and Europe, providing firsthand exposure to how different regions approach technology adoption, workforce readiness, and economic resilience. This global perspective informs his belief that successful innovation depends on training people to use new tools within existing workflows, rather than pursuing automation detached from human capability.
In parallel, Keith is a successful logistics entrepreneur, employing frontline workers in the Southeast. Within his business, Keith has led efforts to train employees and managers to use data and AI-enabled tools to improve maintenance oversight, operational efficiency, and cost control. These initiatives focused on developing internal capability—helping employees understand, adopt, and apply technology to real operational challenges—rather than eliminating roles. This hands-on experience directly shapes FutureSouth Foundation’s applied approach to workforce development.
Keith’s educational journey reflects the same belief in accessible, stepwise opportunity that underpins the Foundation’s work. He earned an associate degree from Itawamba Community College, a bachelor’s degree from The University of Mississippi, and an MBA from Clark Atlanta University. He also studied international business at University of International Business & Economics in Beijing, further shaping his global and systems-oriented perspective.
