Yolanda Jones is an experienced Human Resources leader with more than 15 years of expertise in organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and leadership development. She currently serves as the Director of Human Resources for the Atlanta Dream, where she oversees HR strategy, talent development, compliance, and culture‑building initiatives across both business and basketball operations, including the integration of AI‑enabled tools into talent and people‑operations workflows. Before joining the Atlanta Dream, Yolanda held multiple HR leadership roles at The Home Depot, serving as a strategic partner to executive teams and leading programs in performance management, succession planning, investigations, and diversity hiring. She began her HR career with Comcast Cable Corporation, where she built a strong foundation in employee relations, training, and organizational development.

Beyond her professional work, Yolanda is deeply committed to public service and community empowerment. For several years, she served as a Volunteer Coordinator with GendHer, Inc., a nonprofit focused on supporting and uplifting high school girls. Her contributions included organizing career‑readiness events, facilitating mentoring sessions, leading scholarship fundraising efforts, and coordinating donations for a period‑poverty initiative that provided essential products to students in need. She also serves as Co‑Chair of the School Governance Council for Fulton County Schools, helping guide school improvement and community engagement efforts. Yolanda holds a Master of Public Administration in Human Resources Management from Clark Atlanta University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Savannah State University. She is a SHRM‑Certified Professional (SHRM‑CP) with specialized training in employee relations and investigations, and brings a strong interest in how artificial intelligence is reshaping the future of work and workforce development.
